Fathers Day Card

This is a card that I made for my eldest daughter to give to her grandfather fro fathers day. He loves the western movies and so my daughter wanted to give him a cowboy card. At first she wanted me to do a Native American but as I had already made one for him from me i said it would be better if she chose soemthing else.

I also wanted to make a statement with the card so decided to go big. I wanted to make it A4 in size but how would I do that the only card I had was A4 in size. This is how I did it.

You need 3 pieces of A4 Card

The first piece of card mark 4Cm's down the length of the card and score and fold this will be the front of your card.

The second Piece of card you will need to glue to the first down the length of the 4cm fold. I would recommend using wet glue as this will bond better and you will have no fears of the cards popping apart later.

The third piece of card (the contrast) will be again glued to the front of the card. this is done so that both the front and back of the card is now the same size.

You can now have fun designing your card as you would any other but just on a grander scale. Not only will your card have the Wow factor on design but a double wow factor on size also.

Have fun everyone and your card will certainly be noticed first
